Yes, it is a wonderful poem and Diane's words to the babe in her arms, (as women are the nurturers of life whereas men are the destroyers of life), and would be true of a utopian society or if that noun is misused, then an egalitarian society where we each have enough of the staples of life and truly live in the Real Brotherhood (and Sisterhood) with our fellow human beings on this planet. Sure, to reach that plateau of a literal social-anarchist egalitarian society (one for all and all for one) the whole system of education - secular, religious, and parental and other "elders" of our children beginning when they're toddlers through postgraduate school that greed and arrogance is unwholesome for one's character development and detrimental to society overall, causing war after war, since time immemorial. genuine yogis and developed mystics know this and know, and teach, the ONLY power we should strive for is Power over Ourselves, not others. The ancient Persian Master of the Lodge of Mystics summed it up in six words. Good Thoughts, Good Words, Good Deeds. Not an easy task to master, but the results are uplifting and noble and would help create the Shangri-La on Earth rather than waiting for what happens after our last exhalation in this earth plane existence.
Way too much glorification of the military forces around the world created by the sinister forces or "black magicians" who want to rule the planet and everything on it.
I'm a little off topic, commenting on Diane's Lullaby, but the Holocaust in Palestine is going full speed ahead. "For crying out loud", the Jewish people can stop complaining about the "mistreatment of some of the European Jews by the Third Reich psychopaths and their allies during WWII, when what they're doing now is worse! Two wrongs don't add up to one right, does it?
