Diane, I hear -- and share -- your rage.

And all those dead people who can't celebrate whatever they celebrate this time of year breaks my heart. And the homeless, hungry and just too damned poor and demoralized to give a damn.

Take care, and I hope you're able to get through the hypocrisy of this crass, gaudy season.

It's always good to know that we are not alone!

Being among those who are too poor to pay attention, the irony of your sarcasm is not falling on deaf ears. We have gone so far beyond the pathological spy-op's propaganda to eventually returning full circle to the reality of street theater "in your face" hypocrisy beyond the pale of the independent thinker.

Working in retail for almost 5 years made me loathe Christmas. I'm good with that🤷‍♀️ I'll celebrate Yule instead🎄❄☃️

I also loathe Christmas with a special kind of loathing. Being a practicing Muslim and working in retail for 19 years....yeah. And the music played in stores this time of year is enough to turn me into an inferno of rage. F this fake holiday and all the others.

I lost my enthusiasm for Christmas when I was in my 20's, and that's a long time ago!

I think the ICC should change their ruling and order Netanyahu committed to an asylum for the criminally insane. Along with Biden, Keir Starmer and other supporters of Israel's genocide.

They'd be in good company! Although committing these criminals to an asylum would be too merciful.

They have the same information that is available to everyone and they put it together in their own way. I am not sure that I really believe in evil. I do know though, that people can get so confused and believe so many things that benefit only a few people on this earth that they end up doing horrible things to maintain that status quo. To me, that is insane.

OK. What you say makes sense. I have a problem with the religious connotations attached to the word "evil" but I was thinking about Hannah Arendt's "banality of evil" and that also makes a lot of sense to me.

Superbly written, Diane, and I couldn't agree more. You told it like it really is and your words and feelings are a testament to the inertia and lack of real concern and compassion of the overwhelming majority of the American people, who have let themselves be conveniently "dumbed-down" by the ruling-class apparatus.

It's one of the reasons I don't celebrate Christmas, as its one big manufacturing and shopping spree for all sorts of businesses. It has nothing to do with the Teachings of the Christed Master, but has been a commercial success for commerce.

Thanks, Frank! I fully agree!
