That is one of the clearest and concise posts I have read about this situation. You looked at all the possibilities: hopeful, cynical, realistic. My biggest hope is that, as you put it, "The will to change has got to take root and blossom in people’s hearts and minds."

President Biden has made it clear that “there is no equivalence – none between Israel and Hamas” (which is true, but not how he sees it)

Such delicious, yet sad, irony in your parenthetical statement.

Israel was tried and convicted for war crimes and genocide in 2013. https://www.globalresearch.ca/israel-tried-found-guilty-war-crimes-genocide/5703766

A year before Bush & Co were also convicted for war crimes, in absentia. That effort was led by Francis Boyle, law professor in Illinois.

What have those convictions changed? Not much, as we see in Gaza today.

I'm all for Israel be charged and convicted for war crimes and genocide, but the cynical side of me wonders what good it will do.

Very good post. I only wish it would come true. I would love to see all of these monsters brought to justice. While they’re at it they can issue arrest warrants for Genocide Joe, the majority of the U.S. Congress, Antony Blinken, Jake Sullivan, Vicky Nuland (for her part in destroying Ukraine) and so many others. 😢🇵🇸☮️
