This is an eye opening poem Diane. Thank you for sharing. My eyes have been open for a while now. A friend once told me that in a few years it will not be safe to live in the US and that was I believe in 2012. I think we’re seeing fascism rear its ugly head in the form of DJT and his buddy Elon. People being taken off the street for having the ‘wrong’ political opinion and put in detention centers is just plain EVIL. Now I know what my friend was talking about. The US doesn’t need any one person or country or boogeyman to destroy it, it’s doing that all on its own. And the rest of the West will fall right behind it. 😢☮️🇵🇸
