Powerful. Sobering. Maddening. Inspiring.

Off to the weekly pro-Palestine protest tomorrow. More and more acknowledgment by passers-by that this genocide must stop. Some day it will. It must.

Palestine is our shame and Gaza the worst of our shame as our Governments not only do nothing, but some, particularly the US, make it possible, encourage, fund, support and promote it. The West has become pure evil and the US Government is even more evil than the Israeli because Israelis are brainwashed from birth to fear, hate and kill, but Americans have no such excuse.

I read this last year and it rang true then and it continues to ring true a year later. Very sad and moving poem. Thank you for sharing it again, Diane. 😢☮️🇵🇸

Thanks, Diane. I can't believe this is still happening, but it is.

Our leaders who mostly support this don't represent the vast majority of the rest of us.

And it's only getting worse! Tomorrow is a national day of protest in Ottawa. I hope it's massive, and a resounding message before the election!

Beautifully rendered ugly ugly cruel truth. Such pain, such sadness, such atrocity that the world is normalizing...... Such unspeakable insanity, Diane - thank you for so unflinchingly describing the hell that we have created.

Diane, your compassion, empathy, sympathy, and sincere concern for the people you write about is immense, to say the least. The poem describes the living daily hell the Palestinians are forced upon them by maybe the most despicable people who ever lived, and there were plenty of bad ones in recorded history of the world.

As I said many times before, when you control a nation's money supply, (and bought off political leaders) much of the big corporate media outlets and the entertainment industry (propaganda movies and documentaries), you control the public narrative. Which is one of the reasons education and funding for it has such a low priority in the un-United States, and our so-called legislators would rather close public schools than military bases. Uneducated people are easy to control and manipulate.

I think it should be obvious now which ethnic group were the biggest winners of WW2 in spite of some casualties in Europe during that time.

You deserve all the support you have earned, Diane, standing up for the Truth and Justice badly lacking in this imbalanced world of today which takes courage.

I tip my hat to you!

Absolutely appalling - on it goes with only impoverished Yemen actually doing anything. Rest of the world - tied up in trade deals and politics - does f…all apart from either wringing their hands or supplying weapons.
